Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Vice President of Commercial Sales to lead and develop our sales strategies, driving revenue growth across multiple business applications (CRM, CMS, HRMS, etc.) and technologies (Azure, AWS, Salesforce, etc.). This is a key leadership position offering equity, commission, and the opportunity to shape the future of our sales organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Leadership:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to diverse industries and technologies.
- Drive sales efforts for consulting, implementation, and software package contracts.
- Team Building and Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage a geographically diverse sales team.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture with a focus on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Client Engagement:
- Cultivate relationships with enterprise-level clients, particularly in the automotive and parts dealer industries.
- Lead negotiations for high-value contracts ranging from $60K-$150K for implementations and $30K-$65K for package deals.
Market Expansion:
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the company’s footprint across industries.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine go-to-market strategies.
Sales Operations:
- Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Oversee CRM and sales enablement tools to optimize performance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise-level sales with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing geographically diverse sales teams.
- Experience in selling SaaS applications, consulting services, or implementation partner solutions.
- Expertise in Salesforce Auto Cloud or similar platforms is highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align sales goals with overall company objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
